Transformed entrance – Gold Coast
This coastal luxury home is set in natural bushland only 500m from the beach. With corrosion resistance and bushfire protection on top of the priority list, ForceField® security screens were the obvious choice.
The fact that ForceField® is welded instead of being held together by screws or rivets makes it more corrosion-resistant than other stainless steel security screens. This is reflected in the warranty which recommends cleaning of the powder coated surface every three months in coastal or industrial areas. Some security screens require cleaning as often as every 2-4 weeks to maintain the warranty under these conditions.
Bushfire is a threat to any home set in natural bushland. As one of very few security screens, ForceField® has been tested by the CSIRO. The test exposed a ForceField® window screen to a radiant heat flux level of 60 kw/m2 for 91 minutes. The heat level measured one metre behind the unexposed face of the window screen was approximately 10% of the level measured at the exposed face throughout the test. In other words: ForceField® not only survived the test, it kept 90% of the heat outside.
The proud owners of this beautiful Sunshine Beach home can sit back, relax and enjoy the largely uninterrupted views through the ForceField® security screens. No security screen is stronger or offers better protection from corrosion and bushfire.
